Key Food Stores Co-Op Inc. was founded in 1937. The 100 plus individually owned member supermarkets are conveniently located in the 5 Boros, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Orange, Putnam and Dutchess Counties and in New Jersey.
The corporate headquarters located in Staten Island develops corporate merchandising programs as well as tailoring individual store merchandising programs that appeal to the needs of the diverse neighborhoods in which our stores are located.
We offer the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible prices.
Farm Fresh Produce is delivered to our stores daily.
All featured Meat items are USDA Choice.
Our stores have a variety of service departments including:
- Full Service Deli Departments
- Bakery Departments
- Seafood Departments
- Floral Departments
Our store brand, KEY FOOD PRODUCT, is of the highest quality, comparable to the national brands, and is offered at lower prices.
We recently opened larger suburban stores under the name "Key Food Marketplace." These stores feature all of the departments that Key Food Stores have but, additionally, they have Specialty Departments including:
- Expanded Service Meat Departments which offer Black Angus and Prime Meat
- Expanded Deli Departments
- International Cheese Departments
- Expanded Produce Departments to include Organic Products and Floral Sections
